Using high efficiency EC motors, the Fantech FIT 120E-D-EC-M series features an energy recovery core that effectively transfers moisture and heat from the outgoing air to the incoming fresh airflow, minimizing the energy needed to maintain a comfortable indoor environment year-round.

• Energy Recovery Core: The energy recovery core has a durable polymer membrane facilitating water vapor transport. This core exhibits high humidity permeability and is freeze-tolerant and water-washable.
• Convenient and Secure Duct Connections: It features metal collars with rubber gaskets to ensure the 5-inch side port duct connections are tightly sealed for seamless integration with your existing ductwork.
• Shut-Off Damper: The integrated mechanical shutoff damper ensures the supply ductwork doesn’t allow outside air to be drawn back into the space during standby or defrost mode.
• Customizable Airflow Control: This fresh air appliance offers multi-speed operation from 40 to 129 CFM at 0.4 inches w.g., according to your specific space requirements. The settings can be easily managed through the external electrical box, or a separate wall control.
• Frost Prevention Mechanism: When the outdoor air temperature reaches 14 degrees F or lower, the appliance automatically engages a preset frost prevention sequence where the supply blower halts operation while the exhaust blower switches to high speed, maximizing the effectiveness of the frost prevention method. Normal operation resumes afterward.
• Drain-Free Design: No drain is required for installation. Moisture in the incoming air is simply transferred to the outgoing air during the circulation process.
• Included Air Filters: The two washable, UL900-certified, electrostatic panel-type air filters effectively eliminate impurities from the indoor air. A MERV 3 filter is also included, with the option to upgrade to a MERV 8 filter.
