Open-Box: Aprilaire 5499 Replacement Filter

Designed to be used with the Aprilaire Model 1850F Dehumidifier,  the Aprilaire 5499 Replacement Filter is a MERV 8 foam core and aluminum frame filter.  Filtering most allergens, the MERV 8 filter is able to trap particles as small as 3 microns.  

For the Aprilaire 1850F to function at full capacity, the air filter should be checked and cleaned every 6 months.  The CLEAN FILTER service reminder on the dehumidifier will display on the on-board screen every 6 months to remind you to check the filter.   Cleaning or replacing the filter regularly helps to prevent any damage to the Aprilaire dehumidifier.  The 5499 Filter can be easily cleaned by simply flushing it with warm water and a detergent solution.
