With the brackets and eye bolts positioned horizontally on floor joists, this kit can safely hold a load of up to 200 pounds. Choosing to elevate your dehumidifier can help improve airflow when the unit is centrally located vertically—and if you are gravity draining it, there is more slope allowed on the condensate line if the dehumidifier is off the ground.
