This filter is highly effective in trapping lint, pollen, dust, and other airborne particles because of the polyester construction inside a stable, aluminum frame. With a MERV-1 rating, this filter catches down to 10.0-micron particles without affecting airflow. It is recommended to replace the filter every 2-3 months in order to maintain a highly efficient compressor.
