Options for 2 x 4 Inch Wall Installation

Installation of this Innovative Dehumidifier Systems wall dehumidifier in 2 x 4-inch walls offers two installation options, recessed and semi-recessed, depending on your specific needs.

• Recessed Installation: Ideal for new construction, renovations, and existing properties, the unit can be fully recessed in the wall with no additional accessories required.
• Semi-Recessed Installation: Perfect for applications with limited space to recess the unit, semi-recessed installation only requires cutting one side of the wall. The dehumidifier can then be semi-recessed into the front side of the wall with an exterior sleeve for a clean bump-out finish.
• Polished Finish: This unit has a finished backside for a polished aesthetic.

Note: Semi-recessed installation requires an exterior sleeve (sold separately).

Recessed Installation for 2 x 6-inch Walls

The IW25-5 In-Wall Dehumidifier from Innovative Dehumidifier Systems fits directly between interior studs and a 2 x 6-inch wall without any overlap. The unit has a depth of 5.75 inches for simplified installation and a clean finish. In addition, with this unit, only one side of the wall will need to be cut for the rough opening.

No additional accessories are required for recessed installation.
