Commonly used in indoor growing facilities, greenhouses, warehouses and other large areas, the 506 dehumidifier is available for a variety of uses and installations. This Quest dehumidifier is proudly made in America, can be hung or placed on the floor, and offers an impressive MERV 13 filtration system.

Note: This is a 230-volt, single phase model uses a NEMA 6-20P plug.

Versatile Uses and Installation 

The Quest 506 is is common in large commercial environments thanks to its unique design:

• Operates in any temperature between 56 and 95 degrees F.
• A gravity drain hose is included for removing the excess moisture it collects. You can either drain it outside or into a reservoir.

The Quest 506 Overhead Dehumidifier removes an industry-leading 506 pints of moisture per day, but it’s also backed with one of the most efficient high capacity designs. In fact, this model is he company’s second most efficient model available.

Quest’s patent-pending coil technology, which is unique to this model, allows for higher efficiency in a smaller unit. It pulls only 11 amps and has a maximum efficiency of 8.1 pints/kWh. No high-capacity dehumidifier on the market can remove 500 pints of moisture in such a small frame.

Using less amps also means less heat comes off the unit, which is another bonus if you’re using this model in growing spaces. It also features a high-efficiency impeller fan.

• Long Power Cord: A 10-foot power cord makes it easy to install in just about any location.
• Superior MERV 13 Filtration: Air exiting the dehumidifier is filtered with a MERV 13 filter, which catches tiny non-visible particles like smoke, smog, bacteria, microscopic allergens and debris. Filter changes are suggested 6-8 weeks if the dehumidifier is being used in growing spaces. 
• 5-Year Compressor Warranty: Its backed with a 5-year compressor and refrigerant system warranty and 1-year parts and labor warranty.  
• Auto Restart: After power outages, this high capacity dehumidifier turns back on to its previous settings once power is restored.
• Integrated Handle: Heavy-duty handles are integrated into the design if you need to move this dehumidifier. The threaded rod handles can attach to a 3/8-inch rod (not included) if you choose to use it as an overhead dehumidifier. Moving this 280-pound model will require at least two people.
